Here's a description...
The first Melbourn Bros. beers were made with yeast introduced from Belgium, but more recent examples are truly spontaneously fermented. The beers are more subtle than their continental cousins, and seem to have a more refined flavor and character. No beers even remotely similar have been tasted for more than 500 years. The malt and strawberry are beautifully balanced, making this beer a perfect beverage for barbecues and patio dining. Because aged hops are used, the clean, fresh flavor of ripe strawberries shines through without the bitterness of hops. It is delicious after a meal with fruit, cheese, or dessert. Serve chilled.
