Is this the song :)
Its a rainy afternoon
In 1990
The big city geez its been 20 years-
Candy-you were so fine
Beautiful beautiful
Girl from the north
You burned my heart
With a flickering torch
I had a dream that no one else could see
You gave me love for free
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Yeah, well it hurt me real bad when you left
Im glad you got out
But I miss you
Ive had a hole in my heart
For so long
Ive learned to fake it and
Just smile along
Down on the street
Those men are all the same
I need a love
Not games
Not games
Candy, candy, candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
Life is crazy
I know baby
Candy baby
Uou uou uou
Candy, candy, candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy candy candy
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Candy baby,
Candy, candy
Here is your song
For the rest of ya's
The cover Vanden Plas did of Spanish Rain. Oh yeah, and pretty much everything by Super Transatlantic (except Super Down)
What about Hey Santa by Carnie and Wendy Wilson? I have found that I had to use LimeWire to get that song--neither Napster nor Rhapsody have it.
Which means there is no guarantee that it will be available when you need to download it. And, it's a great Christmas song!
I am a musician and collector of music. I have every song I ever heard and found remotely interesting except 1. I have been searching the net since 98.
The Group was called "Everything is Everything". I thnk they were American Indians. The song is called Witchi tai to.
They played it on the rock stations in Cleveland Ohio, probably late 60's or in the 70's. It was an Indian chant by a rock group. I think today it would be classified as new age.
If anyone can hook me up or help me find it, Pleas pm me.
I think I am going to go look for it now some more.
Late add. I went looking for it on share ware again for the hundreth time. I have captured a version of it by someone called Jack Johnson which is a homogenized white bread version but its the first time that I have heard this song since the 70's so today is a good day.
If Jack Johnson is an Indian I applogize.
The song is called Witchi tai tai.
Is it Witchi-tai-to?
Yes it is called what you say Witchi Tai To
