Please correct me if I'm, wrong;
I understand that an inverted pentagram is regarded by many to be satan worship, how ever I also believe that it is a sing of a wiccan. Wiccans, although they honor the five element, do not use any of their associations with spirit to iduce harm, or harmfull thoughs on others.
On a personal note; I initially started to wear my pentagram because I am utterly anti religion. I made enquiries about an inverted cross, and am yet to aquire one.
The point is; I think this is me desperatly trying to express myself following my exit from the borg. It is not my intention to offend anyone on this board, but I have ex-associates who have the oppinin that I have sided with the devil.
Does this make sense?

I wear the pentigram, too, for the same reason you said about the elements. The top point mean spirit, so if it is upside down, depending on brand of religion, in Wicca it just means that I am not working on spirit yet or haven't worked on it yet and also that I reached the first degree (I haven't). For Satanists, I believe it means that spirit is the least important to the other elements depicting more physical needs. Some Satanists don't believe in Satan but in putting desires before spirit or God. I don't see evil in any of that.

It does make sense... Witnesses are very quick to label anything that is not "of their flock" as coming from the devil. (you are either with us or against us etc).

each to their own....the only problem I have is with those at the highest levels of responsibility....do their allegiances lie to the people they govern or to the oaths they take in private??....i.e...look at this ...All Masons above the third, or Master's degree, are sworn to keep inviolate the secrets of a brother, murder and treason excepted, up to the seventh, or Royal Arch degree. Shell, a wiccan, for the most part uses an upright pentagram. An inverted pentagram is often employed by Satanists (which that in itself is an interesting religion) . I think White Dove expressed that well.

Of course. You left the only true religion and have thus sided with the Devil. Whether your pentagram is upright or inverted, or you are wearing a cross upright or inverted, matters little to them.
As for offending anyone on the board...or anyone for that matter...hahahaha, sorry, but this board is made up of so many personalities, it's impossible to make everyone happy. Just be.
If you are wishing to express an interest in paganism without conveying the wrong message to people on the board, you may wish to consider changing your pentagram to an upright one. Thats just my opinion, take it or leave it.
But if you like it and feel it best conveys what you want it to, try not to worry about others.
