Fulfilled my "auto"erotic fantasy after all those years pioneering, and driving 4 door clunkers.
I love it!

90 Mercedes SW. I'd love to have a newer one *sigh* - but, at least, Mercedes always drive *tight* no matter their age, imho. She's paid for, and newly fixed, drives like a charm. It's really nice to live without car payments.

As with others who drive European cars, they handle remarkably well. I'd take a good ol' Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, over an American car any day.

My husband's updating her to look newer as we speak. He found out what the new ones cost..............*sigh.*

In our area, almost exclusively, women drive Eclipses. A nice thing you can do for your new baby is get the windows tinted with a good film with aluminum in it. It will reflect the heat out of the back area and save your interior from dry rot & fading (most of it anyway.)

Look for a tinter who will do the back window in one piece. Can be done. Enjoy!

When I was an MS I bought a new Camaro IROC. I also had a Honda motorcycle. I actually got a talking to by the CO and DO!! I didn't get rid of either (I wasn't an MS much longer!!)

I drive a 2K Jeep Cherokee and a 69 GTO Judge(a few hundred miles per year ).

For the past few years I have driven an MX5 (or Miata, for you US folks) because I have an absolute aversion to backseats due to years of forced field service.

My young son, his backpack and his trumpet case barely fit in my car, and every morning it is a challenge trying to fit them all in!

I am currently looking into getting a BMW Z3 (slightly more room, but no backseat!)

Around town, I drive a big mean nasty 4WD with bloodstained roo bars on the front, steps on the sides, a crash bar on the back and roll bars over the top (i'm a very very bad driver) in the bush i drive something a lot tougher (an old jeep)

My fist car was a 1969 Ford ute .. great for rural witnessing (we slept in the back .. up away from the spiders, centipedes and stuff .. we were such whimpy boys ;)
