I do.
I come here everyday hoping to see someone new that I know. Maybe family, possibly friends.
Hell, I wouldn't mind seeing people I wasn't all that close with.
I hope one day I'll come here and find my sisters or my nephews or nieces or cousins ....
Or some good friends that I miss.....
It happened to me once and i was a happy person. Someone posted on my wedding photo's topic and said they remembered me etc and how it brought tears to their eyes to see where i've got to, that post brought some tears to my eyes also. I think it was Ironman or something, cant remember. Anyway they were still in at the time, but they know my stepdad and mum! I was chuffed to bits.
Only problem is, we probably wouldnt know it was them, unless we posted our pics in the past..........I still wonder to this day if I may be yip-yapping with someone I know.

Butt, that's a good point too.
I know there are a few here I've wondered about, but because of their posts was able to figure out it wasn't who I thought and hoped.
I used to but not really anymore unless someones posts remind me of someone.
Of course it'd be nice to one day see some of my family around here; but I never really look for them because I'd be very surprised to see them anytime soon.
MisA: Hm, I can understand why. Probably one of these days I'll get to that point. Because you're right, it would be very surprising to see these people here.....
Blackswan, I look all of the time. Even yesterday, I thought of my brother. I looked at the birthday, and my fingers started counting. It was close, but no. I did find someone, who knew someone I knew, but I knew him as an elder, when I was a child, they knew him as a CO. But I got a story about him also!
And, just recently, I may have found someone who may be a distant relative of my never been JW husband, So I'm getting closer!!
Wouldn't it be fun though, to find someone who you really knew? A few here have.

Horrible Life: You sound like me a bit. I think there is a poster here, Inky (maybe its Inkling) and that reminded me of an old friend and before I had the chance to figure out whether or not it was her, I had learned that she is in China, possibly serving as a special pioneer.
I have found one person kind of through here. She was at an apostafest a couple of years ago. She recognized me from when I was a kid.
So, I know there is always hope....
