This is horrible. What a horrific thing for their families-all those mothers lost to their babies and children. Heartbreaking.

All because of crappy infrastructure. The state of their roads is abysmal, and yet people drive like it's the USA or Europe where roads are better. They need to improve the roads there.
And, while they are at it, they need to improve Internet access. Perhaps if they had access to our apostate Web sites, fewer of them would have been involved in this disaster. I bet there were no apostates among those involved in this accident. To me, this little more than shoots another hole in the myth that Jehovah is looking after His people.
Now, I hope this puts a dent on the number of people that are studying and progress to baptism. If something good is to come out of their ignorance and superstition, I hope that at least now it will be "bad luck" to let the Witlesses in and their progress in this key land will be significantly impeded. That's almost 500,000 Witlesses to be right down the drain. At least then some good will have come out of the dismal situation. Now, maybe if those would-have-been Witlesses would get to work in improving the infrastructure, we can avoid the next time.

I don't know how advanced the hospitals are there in Nigeria; my guess is not very. And if those 13 survivors need transfusions and then refuse them...

I'm glad the survivors have each other to help them through it.
