Ray Franz wrote this book in such a humble and simple way. He conveys his message without any bitterness. A must-read!

It's probably one of those where the publisher wants the money up front so they know exactly how many books are being read. Chances are when a person buys a book it is going to get read. If the book store has them on the shelf people, unless they know about it will be wondering what it is. I know, before this board, I didn't know what the book was. I heard about it but didn't even think that I would want to read it. Now I do. I'm still searching a few library's then if I cannot find it I'll order it.

Im a really slow reader and I read it in a short time.

I am about a quarter way through IN search of Christian Freedom. That will be ur next Good read.

CoC kind of shows what happening with the org. This book shows u how to free your mind from the ingrained JW thinking. IMO

Well i tried ordering a copy from a very famous bookshop but they couldn't get it for me. I still haven't got a copy and i'm absoloutely gagging to read it.

Excellent book...I really enjoyed it. I am reading In Search of Christian Freedom now and believe it is even more thoughtful that Crisis... It is clear that by publishing these books, Ray Franz is causing (and will continue to cause) a profound effect on thousands of Witnesses. In the process of reading them, I confirmed many of the doubts and fears I had developed since, as a teenager, I started to understand the "Truth".

So I just ordered C of C from Amazon..
