hey, you're pretty sharp there!!! yes dino, it is a gingko...and it's beautiful too. My hubby's great grandmother planted it i believe. we live in the old log home they purchased back in '95...1895 that is. the tree is about 75 years old i've been told. they grow very slow, but it is the largest one i've ever seen.

Crittersitter, They say that gingko trees were around when dinosaurs were roaming the planet. It must be a slice of heaven when autumn comes and those fan shaped leaves turn yellow. Im a treehugger too, crittersitter! Thanks for sharing those photos. Regards, Dino
