That 2 minute 45 second spot on the news many be motivitation for somek, but during this holiday period, how many people realistically seen it? Not that many would be my guess. We out here have to do our part. Send a letter email etc to local newspaer to the letters ofr the editro and see about making comments about how would we know that people who come to our door Witnesses that is, aren't pedophiles or child molesters. something to that effect.

Typically about 9 plus million watch the NBC Nightly News. There have been many other stories over the years and millions have watched or read (Dateline, NY Times, CBS Evening News, Fifth estate, National, AP and CP etc.). You can see a lot of them at Silentlambs.org. But not everyone has heard about the issue because it has not gotten the wall to wall coverage the Catholics got on every newscast and paper for a few weeks. The reason the Catholics got the wall to wall coverage was due to the fact they are much larger than the JWs. My thoughts are for a tiny religious outfit for the world they sure have been seriously damaged in the press over this. I am not sure what could get it too the next level. Maybe if MacLean has a shoot out or harns more kids etc. Reference for Evening news ratings as of last week: ( http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/evening_news_ratings/default.asp )

Evening News Ratings: Week of Nov. 12
Another split decision for the evening newscasts, and perhaps further evidence that Brian Williams' SNL appearance is helping draw younger viewers. Nightly News led the way in the A25-54 demo last week, while World News with Charles Gibson squeaked out a win in total viewers. Nightly's demo performance is the widest lead over World News since the week of April 16, 2007.
Total viewers: ABC: 9,084,000 / NBC: 9,082,000 / CBS: 6,670,000
25-54 demo: ABC: 2,740,000 / NBC: 2,810,000 / CBS: 2,040,000
25-54 rating: ABC: 2.2/8 / NBC: 2.3/9 / CBS: 1.7/6
