The internet, in fact, has been a boon for consumers....everytime I see an infomercial, I google the name of the product to see what other consumers say, to see if they have had bad experiences, or whether the informercial advertises a scam...

I feel for ya pal, I use to have the same problem. Then I tried new and improved “Demon Away” with wings.
It is much better than the old Demon Away. It also has that new fresh lemon sent.
Why in the hell do they put a perfumed sent on those frick’n things any way? Who in the hell smells heir demons in the first place? A demon is to be seen and heard for Christ sakes, not smelled! The wings are nice though.

I wonder what would become of the Watchtower Society if there was a religion-themed equivalent of the FDA. If I were running such an agency, the Watchtower Society would be immediately dismantled for commission of fraud. They deceive and lie to get people in, and then they threaten and hound to keep them in.
And then they have the nerve to expect business as usual the night after they are publicly exposed as harboring pedophiles and silencing the victims. They put out PR letters that are blatant lies, stating that such incidents are rare and promptly taken care of. That's bullsxxx. They are only saying that to reduce the chance of an exodus. The householders are not going to buy it. They are going to ostracize the Witlesses more, now that the pedophile scandal has been exposed in a mainstream format. They still expect the members out there despite more persecution. More are likely to be shot with bullets and/or pepper spray; others will be shunned in society because of it. And they whine about their poor meeting attendance and donations that are going down.
