confused by the concept of BTTT (page 2)

I'm still confused by BTTT. I used it on this thread hoping to resurrect it to at least the top page of its group, Friends, and to my knowledge it never made it. As of this moment I have no idea how it received 93 views since it was never on the most recent index page.

I kept checking between Active Topics and Friends. Never made it.

I came to the conclusion that BTTT is not some kind of system roBOT but is tended by the administrators, some human intervention. An admin person visually spots it, realizes that person wants it brought back to the top and the admin takes action.

In my case, I surmised, they overlooked it.

to go back to the old days when you had to go to each section (adult, humor, friends, scandals, etc)

for the latest posts. Things took much longer to get buried in the "SHUFFLE" than they do now.

Lets face it: we all just click on active topics all the time now, so a post that may have been visible for three days, now sinks without trace in minutes....

Very sad.

Typing anything brings a topic back to the top of Active Topics....It doesn't have to be BTTT it could be "aiusegh9qw4gbasduibvar". BTTT is just a handy thing to type that states its purpose with little effort.

I am king garbage at using this forum and have even posted requests about how to 'bookmark' topics, paragraph, quote, clickable links etc. Software in primary schools 7yrs ago was more sophisticated and user friendly than this. It's a ball ache to wipe your own........ so I just lie down and accept I'll have to be content with typing in realtime - period!
