I wonder which avatar he'd choose? JCanon describes him in his visions as having an afro, so maybe something like a photo of Tito Jackson circa 1972.

If he was one of us he wouldn't have any more power than any of us either.
Or is it we who don't realise how much power we have?

Being human makes me feel regret. All the intellect and emotion we possess is continually turned on us to inflict pain with no letup. If God were to choose to be one of us it would be tricky because he would need powers to prove it to us which would sorta render him not one of us. If God were a woman all the guys would likely follow God and vice versa. So it would get a bit confusing. God would need to appear as God and give us some direction as to what and why stuff is expected. Education! Which would be more believable if it came direct and in real time because you'd be less inclined to waste a lifetime on beliefs that then go out the window!

Here's a another scenario
What if there's some sort of giant 'computer' that contains all of the 'software/wisdom' that one day we will have the brains to access more and more and use more and more. And this computer/software grows and evolves and sifts as all of us creatures experience living and adding to it. If that were so then maybe as time goes by we can take more and more of what's relevant and perhaps even contratulate ourselves more and more. In that case then I guess the emphasis would be on living and experiencing.
Of course whatever is sacred stands above my meagre meanderings, I hasten to add.
