Well I just think it would bee good for people to be able to see actual real life JW's saying they are fine with their decision. I know when I discuss things with my Mom she always says, "you can't see if people are people on the net". Then after seeing that atheist site it made me think that it could work really well for a site like this, or a community in general.

If we do this, we should also make the ex-Witness sites aware of it. It's easy to paste YouTube videos into a site. I would certainly post any I found there on my site.

Does anyone want to take the lead on this? We could create a video just as the RRS did for the Blaspheme Challenge, then have everyone else post theirs as a response. That way we can find them all in one place. Might even be inspiring.

Just make sure to make these are happy messages, not angry "screw you WT!" messages. That's exactly what the Society would want. It would actually prove that we're crazy rather than prove we're good, happy people. The originator of the post could delete angry messages as necessary (though people could still post them elsewhere). Unfortunately, that's probably a necessary evil. Bear in mind that it might even get some attention online also.

    Just a thought. :-)

Left the JWs long ago and felt delivered after realising that the uniquely JW beliefs were completely wrong and false. Nothing at all they themselves formulated is doctrinally sound as one would expect from people that were not fully and correctly trained in religion and philosophy. Eg Rutherford was a lawyer and never a theologian. His job was to assist people in court cases and not to formulate religious doctrine.

Their entire belief system is a pile of lies and gross errors.

I am happy that I'm not under the WT mind control now and all the deceit, fear, guilt and exploitation that goes with being a JW. I still have family that are "in" and that makes me very sad but I live in hope that they will leave one day. I guess at this time I am still adjusting to life after the borg so it's not always easy. My attitude to life is changing and I feel a freedom now and not so bogged down and repressed, which is good.

I am happy with the idea that I'm an exJW. I'm happy with that idea but for purely selfish reasons. My heart tells me I shoulda picked up on all the sidesteps and not sold myself so cheap! Got pimped!
