I get excited about bad news: but I never think about some biblical prophecy happening. I believe there will be an end to the earth and all life on it, the causes for it are not in the bible.

It's less about excitement and more about - is God finally about to prove that I made the right choice in following him and also hoping to God he does so quickly before your children are persuaded to leave the faith and not be with you in paradise. So it's a sense of anticipating Gods consent and fear of losing loved ones which has you eagerly wanting it all to end in the very next minute if possible.

No, not excited. When I was a Jdub I usually was shocked and scared - with the questionmark over my head *is this it, will Armageddon begin now"*.

These days I get outraged, shocked, scared, feel sympathy and a need to help.

Folks, I would love to hear about starvation in the East, extrusions in the West, earthquakes in the south, famines in the north - a great day would include some malaria, a city on fire, a few coups, wars escalating, locusts, malnutrition, mountains blowing up, and necrophiliacs let loose from the mother goose hospital; let us not forget the persecution "of our worldwide Brothers."

It took many year to celebrate; and have joy with those in joy, and pray for those in pain/disaster - that God have mercy on them (not destroy them for being Babylonian Philistines). It took many years to readjust a hard heart and diseased mind. The WTS rewards the hard heart. Company men with hard hearts out in FS as automatons, deep down hoping all the householders rot and burn, beg for Truth (at the end) and then burn. Diseased minds subscribe to wishing more pain for people, especially in a world full of the worst hells ever contrived.

Maybe I am a drama queen but there is truth in what I say. While the JW do not go out and do the killing like the radical Muslims do, they certainly love to see the infidels murdered and can't wait until Jehovah murders ever last one of the unbelievers, whether they are good people or not - does not matter, kill them, every LAST ONE

...I don''t see the cold, cold hearts as being that much different - the main diffience is the Muslims have balls and the Jw's want Jehovah to do the dirty work that they have wanted completed YEARS ago.

If "new light" came out tomorrow and told the JWs that Jehovah has commanded the faithful to carry out his work to end this system of things, I guaranfuckingte you that there are thousands of JWs that would jump on the bandwagon and murder their own family members/nrighbors for Jehovah.

They are a dangerous cult and will do what ever they are told like mindless drones. I dare anyone to argue that point here - because you all know it is true - they do what they are told without thought.

Another odd thing on this subject, an illuminating thing for me, actually. I was still in Bethel when the huge power outage darkened the Eastern quarter of the USA. When I watched the news and saw the people of NYC peacefully going home, and many stories of 'Good Samaritans' helping others during this crisis. I was, like, "SH-T, where's the looting, shooting, mayhem, violence, and chaos? Why are we led to believe that all of these are really evil and should be killed by God?"

Katrina was a worse scene, bad things did happen, there have been corruption and scandals. But when a District Overseer said, "This is proof that all mankind is still as wicked as during the Nazis and the holocaust." Inside I said, "This man is totally nuts!"

Yeah Billy, it is amazing. huh? They forget all the great things people did for each other during Katrina, too. How convinenant.

Seriouly, I can hardly stand to talk to my mom, it is all so depressing - her view of this evil world - and yes, there is evil in humans, always has been, but there is a lot of good, too, I see it - the Witnesses can't. What a sad way to live their lives.......it is really sick, we know that, they can't see it...... just giddy to see people killed... they are truly sick.

G-d, that alone makes me giddy with joy - that I am out of that sick religious Cult.
