A little over a year ago i was still an elder.
I have not report service for 8 months.
Technically still in though I have been on the board 4 years.

Five years ago, my husband was an elder, I was the long-suffering elder's wife, first to grab the toilet bowl brush when time to clean.My daughter was fanatically kept from everything and everyone worldly...
We were so in the collective we did not look to the right or to the left......
All different now.....not df'd but have not been to a meeting in over two years. Will not go back...the connection with the collective has been severed for good.

So were about 20 other people I have reached. And another 15 or so that were on their way in. And whoever else my posts might have helped avoid it that never told me (I hope that number is in the hundreds ).

Started doubting in 2004 and started the fade at the beginning of this year, 2007. pioneer, ms & Bethelite in the past. Family deeply committed including wife and I just feel sorry for them. But at times I feel bad for the probable looks they get for me being out. I still get invited to get togethers and people still treat me well but they may have to do with the fact that I am a po's son and respected in the local community in general.

yup 5 years ago i was in but with serious doubts
now im out but on paper untill i hear otherwise im still in but inactive.
all that needs to happen is my dad become the PO over both his cong and my old one.............. when they merge......... and he feels he has to df me.
or for any of them to speak about me going to church to my old cong.
but this is my real pic so i dont really care lol

5 years ago I was Pioneering/Servant giving public talks on Sunday, memorial prayers etc slow fade thanks to internet and research. 2 years ago decided I couldn't fake it anymore, supporting an orginisation I've grown to hate...there were times during the Watchtower study on Blood when I would walk out in discust.
