Are Jehovah's Witnesses Being Greatly Distressed? OR DisGraced?

  Are Jehovahs Witnesses being greatly distressed becaused of the Pedo's among them or the dead bodies which the blood doctrine makes or the false prohecy's(deception) which eminate from their governingbody?

  Historically, when an outcry from God's people reached the true God then, their would be changes and this dosen't appear to be the case with the Jehovah's Witnesses.

  The sad conclusion is that they may not be recognized by the true God or they may not have a problem with the above morally corrupt practic's within their institutions which has been considered as a acceptable risk to the cost of doing business.

  To a logical person or someone who is aware, your questions are valid. Sadly JW's have gone thru a shift in beliefs and perspective's that was virtually unnoticed. 20 yrs ago or more they focused on prophecy and world events as proof of their message and divine approval, that well has now dried up.
  
  Now they are just a social club with its own brand or message. I dont believe that it is about the end coming, but rather keeping up the witness pace while waiting for the end. A subtle difference that holds people to the BORGanization a lil longer.

  Pedophiles! And that they have paid multi-million dollar settlements from the Worldwide Work fund to hide the whole scandal.

  Blood hasn't been an issue locally.

  On false prophecies of the end... We're a congregation dating back to the 40s. My parents grew up expecting the end in the 50s. Started their family in the 60s. Have been very faithful Jdubs, but knew never to trust any date predictions.

  My mother, who is having health issues, watched the NBC report on Pedophilia when it aired. The first words out of her mouth after the broadcast: "Thank God I don't have to go out in service tomorrow!" So probably a combination of distressed and disgraced.

  I don't think they are too distressed, since they are programmed to go on business as usual. I do, however, think it is a disgrace to be going out in field circus now that this information has been placed on mainstream sources.

  As for the resulting persecution, I think they are going to regard it as a sign that the end is imminent and that Satan is using the media to stir up extra persecution. And that's what they want. The leaders gloat when the members are ostracized in the community.
