My cousin told me that they are now using GPS for field service. Does anyone know if they can store more info on people and use them for the wrong reasons?

Our CO thinks so!! seriously
The WT Society will find something they don't like about this technology, just like they do with any other innovation. And they will then print something negative about it in the Kingdom Ministry or in the members-only Watchtower magazine.
Anything would be an improvement over those Territory Maps that were C&P'd from 10 year old county maps.
GPS would make field service more efficient. That is NOT what pioneers and the R&F want. They would rather spend most of their time driving around aimlessly to their calls, taking the least direct route. The only time a direct route is preferred, is when they are going on break.

Maybe they could specially rebadge a GPS for JW's. Instead of 'Tom Tom,' they could name it 'Dumb Dumb.'

VERY TRUE - never thought about that
What if Brooklyn issues one to each pioneer, that way they can track them, make sure they are really in "service" and not on breaks. This would be a way that their time would be turned in.
Can it put big red x's on do not calls? If so, how do I sign up?
If GPS is used, its sole purpose will be to find the longest possible path between all of the different destinations ensuring the greatest Field ServiceTime to Call ratio possible.
