    Midget-Sasquatch:

I've been saying this all along, there are many unwanted embryos sitting in liquid nitrogen tanks. All these groups that are opposed to embryonic stem cell research and champion the value of human life, are doing what exactly to ensure none of those embryos are destroyed? How many of those embryos have been retrieved, developed to term, and adopted by their members?

    Hey FunkyDerek,

Thanks for that link! I've got to say that its refreshing to see some people are actually trying to follow through with what they believe. I've got to give those people some credit there. Although only a bit, because I personally think they'd be doing alot more good by adopting those already born first. Why are those potential people more highly valued than already existing children who also would need a home?

Not passing judgement on them because I'm even more inconsistent in following my stances, and make many unfair choices all the time. Whose to say which human life is more valuable then another? I just have a personal leaning to first consider those who are already existing, sentient beings in contrast to lifeforms without any real neural development at this point in time. I'd think even with this effort there'd still be a fair number of unwanted embryos though, so I think its still a waste to not make them available for creating viable stem cell lines.

    FD:

Unfortunately, out of 400,000 embryos (as listed on the site), they've only "placed" 134.
Still, it provides a valuable service to infertile couples.
