A little behind the 8ball here, but I finally rented the first season and watched it this week. Freaking awesome. There's nuthin' like a good psych thriller. Loved the twists and turns and humour. Perfect amount of predictability keeps it sane. This series speaks VOLUMES about humanity and it's social constructs/attempts at justice. I'm a total fan of the political honesty and emotional courage of this show. I completely appreciate the ability of everyone involved in Dexter to so beautifully express/portray/demonstrate/replicate exactly the kinds of insane contradictions and inane hypocrisy that are so apparent in our world!! I damn near salivate at the thought of catching up on season two. It's gotta be one of the deeper commentaries on the world as we know it, that I've ever seen. LOVE IT.
