I predict Obves will make an ass of himself. Wait, he does that now.

I predict nothing out of the ordinary, short a natural catastrophe or our governments cracking down on everything that could expose their abuse of authority. Short of this, things are going to be pretty much as they are now. The economy could well be in a stagflation mode similar to the 1970s and with similar reasons (shortages). And OBVES is going to be in for some embarrassment failure of his predictions (actually, most of those are centered on 2011, so he is going to face the music in 2012).

It could also bring in a new president. If whoever gets in for 2008 does a crappy Carter-like job or attempts to turn our "free" country into a totalitarian society, there will probably be a new one elected. However, I doubt that there is going to be anything of divine origin happening around 2011 or 2012.

Hopefully, the Watchtower Society will be brought to its knees. My hope is that hardly anyone is joining, and that plenty are leaving when more pedophile and other abuse reports go mainstream. I hope the whole organization is down or reduced to a few die-hard idiots that are still out there proclaiming an outdated message.

I'll bet my money and life that you are right. But I am a ware that if I loose my money and life in 2012 it will because NIbiru, Planet X, the 12th planet came within the gravitational pull of the earth and caused the earth to shift rotation.

The story is this happens every 3,500 years or so, and correlates with the flood of Noahs day.

This is why man says the earth is billions of years old but man and society is rather primitive.

I live in Florida so I will be destroyed. Maybe some who live in Colorado or some high altitude wilderness places will survive.

Since I'm not pulling up and heading to the mountains I'm siding with you.

If in the next few years planet X becomes more visable I may head to the mountains.

I googled it last week and I am not inspired to head to the mountains yet. But it is something to monitor. And I may not have googled it with the best key words.

I've heard some say that planet x has been sited and the US government is suppressing it.Other governments are aknowleding it.

If there are enough people that buy into the 2012, end of the calendar thing, and people in the low lying areas start selling off and moving to higher areas, then it might be a good time to buy. The saying is to buy low and sell high. Housing prices would drop, as more people sell. However, in the really long run, like centuries, it wouldn't surprise me if low lying cities might actually be phased out. Unthinkable as it is, that this could happen w cities like new york, how many giant tsunami waves would it take? Those waves are caused by under water earthquakes, sluffs, giant volcanoes or large asteroid strikes. If it does happen though, it's most likely centuries away. So, not something to worry about.

I doubt that there will be enough people buying into the 2012 thing to make it meaningful. The yr 1000 caused some serious screw ups among the european population. The catholic church has learned from crap like that to think more long term.
