Yes, it's possible. Do I love my friends here like I love my kids or hubby? No. I love them like I do all my other friends. I never say it unless I mean it.

My take: You can't love someone you don't really know.

I loved someone I didn't really know for over 16 years. The breakup is what finally opened my eyes. I don't "love" anyone here, and I haven't given anyone reason to "love" me. Personally, I think the word "love" is used a little too freely. W

we have an affinity with the people we post with. I don't think we can really love a human being that we dont really know.

affinity is the key word here I feel

I clearly "like" a number of people here. But somebody might be a fraud and I'd be stoopid if I ever loved that person without ever knowing that individual. Some have said there are varying degrees of love. OK, if you "love" someone that you don't know, I guess it's not a high level "love".

I know of a 40 year old female who's engaged to a guy. She's been dating him for about a year now. She LOVES him! She never met the guy or even talked to him!!! She's communicated with *somebody* over the internet and through texting. That's it! But she "loves" the person. (I just wish they were still selling bridges)...

    You can call me stoopid.

Or I can love you, Minimus, and if it turns out that Minimus is a figment of YOUR imagination,
and you are not what you pretend to be, then I loved Minimus, and I don't know who you are.

This is symantics. Nobody is telling Minimus (well, most of us aren't) whom he should love
and how to love. Love us or like us or not, pal. I still love you, man.

    Barbie Doll.

I could make a list of those on JWD, that I love; but, if I missed someone, they may be hurt. You know who you are, we have traded PMs, talked on the phone (you usually do most of the talking, unless we talk about cars/car racing), you got a Christmas card and weren't of the list.

I have a deep love abiding in my heart for each and everyone here , Some more than others.

However , I do not wish to have sex with anyone or come to your barbecue , I feel a love in my heart that transcends the need for approval or acceptance , I feel it because it is my nature and not because I expect a return of love from anyone,

So yes I really love you. Don't need to meet you to feel love for you . Don't need to even be aware of your existence to love you.

Love is independent of our world, it is perfect and can exist independently of all things.

    Does that answer the question?
