    In order to vote in the Republican Primaries, in certain states, they require you be republican. If you are serious about Ron Paul 2008, be sure to switch to republican for the following states before the deadlines.
    If you live in NEW JERSEY deadline is DECEMBER 17TH
    If you live in NEVADA deadline is DECEMBER 19TH.
    If you live in KENTUCKY deadline is DECEMBER 31ST.
    If you live in FLORIDA deadline is DECEMBER 31ST.

    If you do not defend the Constitution now then be prepared to be rounded up soon as a political dissident during a midnight raid on your home and be sent away to a FEMA Concentration camp. They have already been built. Just Google:

    I got a booklet from my local union, with all the candidates that they acknowledge. Notably, Ron Paul was missing! I guess Local One does not want our country to be salvaged--all they are interested in is more regulations that make it ever harder for new businesses to ever be started and get off the ground. More food stamps. More people struggling to make ends meet. More new diseases that are nothing more than normal conditions that we all have. More infringements that will make Bush look like a fighter for our freedom.

    If Ron Paul is shouted down by the media (and something tells me that he is not going to get significant exposure and that he is going to lose because of foul play on the part of the system), then really this country is going to make the old Soviet Union look like a free country. There are several candidates that look like they want to regulate more people right out of business, forcing them to depend on existing businesses. And that is going to lead to stagnation.

    However, it could be even worse. If Ted Jaracz were ever elected president, then for sure China and the old Nazi Germany will look like free countries by comparison.

    Hahah, the cult of Ron Paul has even invaded this board. Most of the people that vote for Ron Paul don't really know his other platforms. Do you know that Ron Paul wants to cut taxes for the "rich", make abortions a state issue (In effect, banning abortions in the South and Lime Jello belt) and also reducing the power of unions?

    I bet some of you lefties didn't even know that. Ron Paul isn't all what he's cracked up to be, lefties. He's just an isolationist Republican, which means if you believe in that bullshit about the "evil rich", legalized prenatal infanticide and monopolizing the labor market, then you're just out of luck.

    Noninterventionism is not isolationism. Nonintervention simply means America does not interfere militarily, financially, or covertly in the internal affairs of other nations. It does not mean that we isolate ourselves; on the contrary, our founders advocated open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations.

    Thomas Jefferson summed up the noninterventionist foreign policy position perfectly in his 1801 inaugural address: "Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations — entangling alliances with none." Washington similarly urged that we must, "Act for ourselves and not for others," by forming an "American character wholly free of foreign attachments."

    Yet how many times have we all heard these wise words without taking them to heart? How many claim to admire Jefferson and Washington, but conveniently ignore both when it comes to American foreign policy? Since so many apparently now believe Washington and Jefferson were wrong on the critical matter of foreign policy, they should at least have the intellectual honesty to admit it.

    =======================

    If the founding fathers were still alive, they would vote for RON PAUL!!! Apparently people don't read the CONSTITUTION.

    sent away to a FEMA Concentration camp.

    I'm just curious...

    I used to listen to short-wave radio quite a bit about 15-20 years ago. The radio commentators were giving the exact same warnings, referring to all kinds of evidence that lots and lots of these camps were already completely built, just waiting for their inhabitants.

    My question is, why go to all the trouble and expense of building "FEMA concentration camps" 20 years in advance, and just have them sit completely unused for decades? Why not build them when they are needed? Why spend all that money, then have to spend it either on 20 years of idle maintenance, or spend it on refurbishment of buildings marred by 20 years of disuse and decay?
