A lot of the growth is not in western worlds unless from those born in the truth, or from immigration, especially here in Oz it is Asian and Indian cultures that are having the greatest response, also there is a Persian congregation which I find interesting as that is rare.

Because lots of Witnesses are faking their field service reports. All you have to do to avoid attention by the elders is write down some

So if you compare the new (2007) figure of 6,957,852 with that August 2006 count, that would be a 1.03% increase. (Sounds realistic to me.)Your math is not correct. The increase for 2007 is 3.21% over 2006. That is 216,408 more peak publishers!
This appears to be a classic case of confusing peak numbers for one year (2007) with the average numbers from the year before (2006). Let's just hold our horses and wait until the details are available for perusal.
