We decide which is right! Nights in white satin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9muzyOd4Lh8
Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Bedsitter people look back and lament
Another day's useless energy is spent
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one
Lonely man cries for love and has none
New mother picks up and suckles her son
Senior citizens wish they were young
Cold hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colours from our sight
Red is grey and yellow white
But we decide which is right
And which is an illusion -

Hello Purps. I see we have a commonality. My brother killed himself on April 7, 1995. We unplugged him on April 9. What makes it a little bit harder is that my daughters 5th birthday is April 8. It was very difficult to remain composed on her birthday.
A few years ago I released his ashes and his dads out onto the Pacific ocean along side with some of his personal friends in attendance.
During his funeral we played this song. > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa3TEIdZkWA&feature=related The Hollies.
He ain't heavy..................he's my brother.
12 and a half years later I still miss his laughter. Good day all.

Well...due to this thread I have had a wonderful trip down memory lane in this very snowy (18" predicted) afternoon! I went to Youtube to see what they might have on MY personal pop recording artist---Richard Marx. They had plenty!
I love his talent, his husky voice, his sensitive beautiful lyrics, AND I am also envious of his hair. I am just of fond of him now as I was the first time I heard him on the car radio, coming back from a sad and upsetting visit, seeing someone in the hospital in Syracuse. His voice just blew me away and I have been an avid fan ever since. "Angelia" was the first song I heard him record. It is #1 on the following picks:

This video and song made me a big fan when it came out in '88. Fantastic solo by Jimmy Page too.
