Bryan--We read your book when it was first published and have never forgotten what an emotional read it was. In your three-minute interview you once again emotionally moved us to feel what it was like for you and your mother to be separated and then reunited. So many years of love lost between a mother and her son because of deluded thinking on behalf of your father. And you are such a good son too. What a fool he is to spurn you because you have chosen to do the right thing in behalf of your mother, plus, you no longer subscribe to his faulty reasoning on oh so many subjects. Of course, the religion played a large part in what happened to you and your family and that shouldn't be forgiven; however, it is your father who is the most reprehensible one in your story.

I found interesting the responses of the gal that interviewed you. She seemed genuinely moved by your story of the separation of a son from his mother and by your father's subsequent action of cutting you off. We saw a similar emotional reaction from the Nashville reporter who interviewed me for the10 PM News program shown on the Nashville NBC affiliate station in Nashville, on Nov. 21st. Her expressions of dismay were so real when she fully realized what the implications of shunning meant in our lives--no son, no grandson, no family, period! And that's why she made such an issue of it on the segment. "Worldly" people, even hardened reporters who have heard it all, find it difficult to comprehend all of this happening to "good" people. When she was leaving our home, she hugged both of us and said to please keep in contact with her. I'm sure you are having similar responses everywhere you go during your book tour. We applaud you for your determination to tell your very moving story wherever you can get a listening ear.

    Warm regards,

    Barbara

    Thanks Barbara and all.

Shannon, the interviewer, was shocked by my story. During the commercial breaks I was telling her the things she asked me not to say on air. Especially, concerning my daughter shunning me simply because I don't believe as she does. Yes, her shock was evident in the interview.

I'm really looking forward to signing Borders Books on the 5th of Jan. I get to speak at this one. I have never given this speech and not have people come up to me afterwards, crying. My speech, last Friday, at Kiwanis, I almost lost it, four times. It's difficult, but education is the only way people are going to understand what parental abduction does to children. It depends on my audience, whether or not I can bring up the Watchtower. And still yet, I feel both subjects, parental abduction and the Watchtower, are such strong topics, that covering both in one speech would be even more draining for the audience. The book still gets the Watchtower information out there.

Thanks all your hard work as well!

After I searched on "Bryan", I found the interview on the linked website. (Something else comes up first now.)

Anyhow that was a very good interview, and best wishes to you as you continue to educate people on the abduction issue. I'm glad you were able to incorporate information about harmful Watchtower policies/activities into your book.
