Although I'm not a newbie in months, I'm a newbie in posts.
On one of my earliest posts I received a sarcastic reply implying doubts about whether I could truly be a newbie. (Sorry oompa, calling you out here!)
I understand that with trolls around, people can be wary. But I also think that being automaticallly suspicious of all new posters can be damaging.
Maybe first give them a while and see whether their posts are useful and genuine?

Some of these people are very untrusting and paranoid because of being lied to by the witnesses- so please don't take it personally . They are just jumpy and gunshy at times ! Yep!...although that might (and most usually does) only take a few posts, eh?
In that regard, I must say: OUTLAW got onto oompa's case early on, suspecting a troll. As things transpired, OUTLAW stepped back and apologized for possibly jumping the gun...and that's one of the reasons I respect OUTLAW. I've done the same thing, many times, and apologized.
As for the rest of you who see fit to question my use of the appropriate English word, let me just say that my DICtionary is bigger than yours! LOL

Sorry about that faux pas. I'll try not to use them dadgum Texas slang words anymore. I know how you high fallutin' big city yankee types have such a hard time readin' the language of the earthy peoples, so I'll try to keep it simple gol'durnit.
