Oh cool. I gotta admit, it's pretty good being in a country which has the sense to put Darwin on one of its banknotes.

    Interesting, indeed.

"DNA studies show that hippos are in fact closely related to modern whales. They do not appear in the fossil record, however, until about 15 million years ago, some 35 million years after the cetaceans originated in south Asia."

I thought that hippos were close to whales.

Thats interesting, I saved the info and made an evolution file

Personally, I am very suspicious about science telling me what happened 45 million years ago.

To me thats like going down another Wactower hole.

I remember when I was a kid growing up in Cleveland, They had a big dinosaur, I think it was T,rex or a bronto sauris. It was the complete skeleton.

Then I found out as an adult that they find a couple of bones and then manufacture how they think all of the rest of the bones would look to make the model that they pass off as an ancient find.

It doesnt really matter any more to me how we got here. But I'm not swallowing a 45 milion year old hook. But its an interesting theorie. Theories are all anyone has.

I can see this, if you are looking for evidence of evolution, you will find it

If you are looking for evidence of creation you will find it, you can start with the institute for creation research.

We see what we want to see, and then sometimes we see what someone else wants us to see. Often times someone with more money than us. Money is power and promotes agendas.

For those who refuse to believe evolution, there will never be enough evidence for it. Arguing the point is a waste of time. To creationist dogma, the conclusion is already determined. Any evidence that contradicts that conclusion they see as either misinterpreted, wrong, or a forgery.

Creation = conclusion is pre-determined (God did it), all evidence that does not conform to the conclusion will be discarded.
Evolution = conclusion is variable and changes are dictated by new evidence. All evidence is studied and considered, continually shaping and refining the theory.
