Tons. Take their name for instance. The bible claims that nobody may see God and live and yet they say they are his witnesses. They then say that they are his witnesses because they have seen his work in their life, but that would make everyone his witnesses because the bible also says that he "let's his sun shine on the righteous and the unrighteous alike."

sure: blanket condemnation of any film or TV show with realistic depiction of violence and it's consquences,
while defending the bloody pointless murders by the OT Jehovah, and even exposing very young childen to
such graphic horrors.Like in My book of Bible Stories, with a realistily drawn image of a woman (the HEROINE) driving a tent stake into
a man's skull as the blood runs down his face.don't you be watching any R rated movies now! God hates violence!

Whatever contradictions or misunderstandings they still hold firm the first position among all christian churches.If you know the endtime chronology I have been giving they are secured in God's plan as acceptable .
You would have to provide another christian group if you disqualify Jehovah's Witnesses.

choosing life
I saw a lot of contradictions in a lot of their teachings. I just kept stuffing it away until I ran out of room. The lives that many (not all) jws live are a contradiction in themselves. I saw so many prominent ones get away with just about everything.

The most blatant one I have been victim of is that they would tell me from the platform that the a$$emblies are a foretaste of the "new" order. Then, when I get rejected by the opposite sex all the time, they tell me that it will not be that way and that the ONLY purpose of being there is to take in instruction from Jehovah.
Then I asked why I couldn't just have it recorded or transcripted, or get it online. They always came up with some specious reasoning why it was so much better to be there. It always ran in a closed circle. And now they wonder why I haven't been to an a$$embly since 2001. And, with all the posts indicating that the material is all the same and that there are more rules added every year, I feel I haven't missed a thing.
Except, that is, the grand and glorious privilege of donating to the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund, either directly through the boxes or indirectly by following their arrangement.

I was completely loyal and obedient (tm) for decades, but the more years that passed by---the more of these contradictions became evident (and I wasn't LOOKING for them). After one WT study, I had gone up and asked an elder about the lies of Rahab and how "Jehovah" allowed this to be "a good example" for us....just as those experiences in the Yearbooks that told about "the brothers" lying to police, etc when they had WTS literature. I didn't think "his people" were supposed to lie!
Another that comes to mind was wondering if Jesus had already come back in 1918---and HE SAID to "do this in remembrance of him until his return....WHY are we still celebrating the Memorial? It didn't make sense.
These still don't......and the "answers" I was given were so lame!

For me it was being taught that salvation was a free gift from God, not something that could be earned, but then being told that if I wasn't doing enough I would be destroyed at Armageddon.
