I like perfumes for about 30 seconds and after that they irritate my nostrils and throat. I found natural perfumes by Pacifica (yes, the candle and soap company) that I like. The only ingredients are essential oils and alcohol, and they don't seem to bother me. My current favorites: Tuscan Orange, which goes musky on me and Waikiki Pikake. Spellbound by Estee Lauder....I get stopped where ever I go and asked what
I am wearing.
Stopped mostly by men, they breathe deep and then ask me. The funniest place
was in the Liguor store. There was a huge line for purchases and some
guy said, For Once this place smells good .....he then turned around and
smelled what I as wearing, and said I have got to have that for my girlfriend.

I have always liked White Shoulders which is a flowery scent - very old fashioned but people always say it smells wonderful. I also like anything with rose in it - like YSL Paris which has a violet top note and then rose. But I think I make old-lady choices; a perfume expert I know recommended Vera Wang so I think I'll try that. My only problem is that perfumes with musk make me nauseated - and I start wheezing.
