I love John Lennon, Simon and Garfunkle, Harry Chapin, Jim Croce and many more. I love songs that make you imagine real people with real lives.

Yeah. I like some of those songs that tell good stories. I always liked "Ode to Billy Joe" by Bobbie Gentry
because the story was sort of mysterious and I when I heard it, I could just "see" the scenes in my mind.
I also liked Gordon Lightfoot's stuff.

There are too many to choose from. Off the top of my head though, Paul Simon is one of my bigget musical heroes. Johnny Cash is either tied with Paul or a close second. Next, hmmm, Marty Robbins maybe.
