Howdy Tati.......Howdy Doody is correct! He was the freckled kid - and his sidekick was a long-eared dog - and their sponsor was either Ovaltine or Nestles. Either way - that's why the dog said "ChoooocLAT!" and then slapped his jaws together.

And Mighty Mouse was my true companion at six years old, along with Hopalong Cassidy on Saturday morning. Obviously, I wasn't a jw because I got to drag my blanket out and watch them - and they were old reruns then! Of course, the Lone Ranger and Tonto were there too.
