I watched him on TV yesterday as he quarterbacked the Raiders/Chargers game and was proud of the way he handled himself.
My interest in him is due to the fact that his grandma - who watched him while mom worked - lives down the street from my brother in Mobile, Alabama.
He's a fine young man, and I predict great things for him next season.

He may be a good QB, but he plays for the Raiders. The black hole of the NFL (no pun intended). The sooner he gets out of the organization, the better. Just look at Randy Moss.
I don't know him, but I do know that his love of money is stronger than his love of the game. He held out for more money at the beginning of the year and that is why he didn't get to play until the last few weeks of the season.
I don't think football or any sport is what it used to be.(or possibly, it never was) I'm slowly losing interest due to the reality that it's all about money and nothing else. I don't blame anyone that tries to get as much money as possible(I would do the same thing), but why should we as fans, be exposed to the financial underbelly of the game we love or used to love?
Regardless, as a former football fan and raiders fan, I hope he does well.

I hope he does, too. He is so talented. But, as has been pointed out, money and fame are powerful lures. I feel like crying every time I think about Michael Vick.

I think his quarterback rating is about 20 this year. I'm not sure how they compute it, but I know that's not good.

I didn't watch Michael Vick yesterday. We watched movies all day instead of football. It was a rainy, ugly day here.
I don't have cable, so I missed Vick.
