We found this quiz after reading the book Parenting Beyond Belief and SweetPea and I decided to take the challenge - afterall how difficult can 50 Bible questions be for us born and brought up as JW's?
Our results were enlightening to say the least - we both scored 28/50 - not exactly brilliant although apparently above average.

We have just started reading this book - so far it has contained some stuff we found to be interesting - when you are an ex-JW and rapidly heading towards atheism there is whole new set of challenges presented WRT children. Not more difficult, just different challenges.
Seems a common misconception that atheism=lack of morals - I had this thrown in my direction by my SIL at the weekend - she has faded from the JW's for many years and yet still holds the belief that without God somehow you are likely to be less moral. Unbelievable that this is entrenched in her mind.
Perhaps your wife might read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_is_not_Great by Christopher Hitchens. Not apostate as he was never a JW but offers a different life view and paradigm - I think most JW's with doubts are looking for a stick-on replacement belief system - 'where else will we go?'. I believe the real answer to this question is there may not be anywhere else to go, but its a personal journey and requires effort to read and research the alternatives that are out there. Again mind-control via thought-stopping techniques prevents a lot of JW's even considering the possibility that there are viable options outside their perfect theology.

(well - I'm not an American, so...)
I'd say some of the questions were loaded as mentioned, and for a couple of them I therefore decided to pick the worst one, as I figured it would be the correct answer. But most of them I already knew. Some of these will be contested by apologists, like the Jephthah thing. Still - an interesting exercise for even the "true believers", I'd think.
I got the 'tenth commandment' one "correct" according to most, but as the answers page points out, those were not the commandments written on the last set of stone tablets. I think I probably similarly got some others "correct" by usual Bible reader standards, but was 'turned down' by this quiz.
I did the same as others and picked the worst sounding answer. That was fun!
