Witnesses who take advantage of government programs

I'd like your take on JDubs who take advantage of government programs, despite having to lie to do it.

My MIL & I were talking about some local JDubs who are on "welfare" and get "food stamps", despite having the means. They ride around in new SUVS, live in nice houses, but (obviously) fudge the numbers with social security in order to get benefits.

Why do some JDubs take advantage of government? Is it becuase they feel "entitled" to cheat the great Satan? Is it to get more "free time" so they can pioneer? What are your thoughts?

Has the Society written anything on the right to take government support or programs, or justification for doing so?

i have 3 pioneers or so in my cong. who collect disability, while pioneering (walking quite a bit)

know quite a few that drag out unemployment to the max........... and then look for a job

Plenty of pioneers do the same down there. I had a sister in my hall who had to quit pionering, because the JobCenter forced her to take a job. She was crying to the elders and telling everyone it is Satan giving her a hard time testing her faith. I told her, she is "serving" jehovah while "living of the beast"..

How well informed are these government agencies concerning the wbts "religion"?

Should we have some sort of campaign to inform these social services and educate them about the cult?

Are we not "blood guilty" if we don't do something to correct/ reprove those who deceive?

Are we to go "first to our brother/sister" transgressor?

(I'm thinking of sending this as postcard to some of the self-righteous people I know who are lying to get gov. money)

Do you think we would lovingly be helping these brothers and sisters to expose them to the judicial committee?

Would the state then need search warrants to get those records (among others?) since they now have secret trials concerning fraud in state/governmental matters?

My ex received a college education (she only ignored counsel from the FDS when it conflicted with her personal goals in life) and over $400 a month in Food Stamps and free health care and health insurance when we were married.

She still receives over $400 a month in Food Stamps and free health care and health insurance.

All of this came from Satan's System... the US Government and she isn't even a US citizen (won't say the oath for citizenship cuz it is idolatry but she sure will take the free hand outs).

That sure sounds like hypocrisy at its finest. People that proclaim not to do fraud, but then turn around and take Welfare so they can pioneer. Or they go on disability so they can do more time in field circus. Quite often, they are dishonest so they can collect more money for the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund. Yet they are quick to bash the same government, for which they never voted anyone in or out.

I wonder what happens when the food stamps are cut off. Suppose Ron Paul gets into office, and slashes Welfare and food stamps along with income taxes. Then he deregulates everything, making it quite easy for anyone to get into a business, but it is going to take time away from field circus. Most people, including a majority of those that are trapped in poverty, would benefit significantly. But the freeloaders would be hurt. Those that milk the welfare programs would find life quite difficult when there is no more Welfare to milk. While everyone else is getting very rich, the witlesses will be getting very poor. And, I am sure they will then call Ron Paul Satan's twin.

alot of these crooks don't feel guilty, because at some point they did pay some taxes.............. so they are entitled!!!

imagine, everyone pays sales tax in NJ/NY here. in order to buy, you must pay!

about ten years ago I had quite a few brothers from the Spanish hall working for me. I couldn't keep most of them over 18 months. A few of my highly trained guys stuck around, but everyone else would be like a revolving door. Well one brother told me that if they worked 18 months, they could leave and then live off the system for a while. In fact, they actually lived better. So they would pioneer and then go back to work when the benefits started.

Knowing all these people had families, I was shocked. Well then I was. Now I just regard them as parasites.

Yes I know several cases in the spanish congregations where they enjoy unemployment benefits. Or get very low paying jobs and work part time so that they can pioneer and live off welfare. Of course they move to areas like Georgia, where the cost of living is cheaper and they get better gov't housing. Of course they all feel it's part of Jah's blessing on them since they are regular pioneers.....I know MANY who so this.....

Growing up I knew a pioneer family who did part time cleaning, surprise, and got food stamps. Both parents could work, and once the kids were old enough, they worked too. The mom died in a car accident and he got remarried a pioneer sister. They are still pioneering. The son is pioneering with his wife and their child. I don't know about the daughter. She moved out of state but I know her and her hubby are working.
