I really didn't like it when people viciously attacked you about your politics, but I think all of us attack and have been attacked at one time or another here on the board... if you think about it, that's just about what happens in life... so just say f*** it and keep hanging around.

Thanks you'all, it's not so much about the politics, but this board has become so addicted. it takes nearly 4 hours a day just to keep up with all the new posts. I do need a break, and I believe I have found a board where I can help people, offer advice, plus the occasional JW pops in every now and then. It's not a religious board whatsoever, but it does have a religion section.

I just spend way to much time and energy on this one board, I need to make time in my life for other endeavors. Im actually going to seek out the local party here and maybe start getting involved. Plus I really need to seek out a good local church here, or at least start sampling the selection again.

I just need to tear myself away from here.

I didn't either. It was all I could do to refrain from jumping into the fray. Especially with the personal insults.

I will say this, however: Remain true to yourself no matter what others may say to or about you. To borrow a phrase from Ma Dear, "it's not what people call you, it's what you answer to." Godspeed, Dave.
