i loved it when they showed the buckeye band after they went up by 10 points. they were screaming it's over and stuff like that. then after 21 unanswered points, they went back to them looking on in disbelief. hahahahahahahahahahahaha

I lived in Bayou Vista, so my sis and brothers were Berwick Panthers. But Morgan City's mascot was the Tiger. Then we moved to a suburb of Atlanta and I attended Tucker and we were the Ti-grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!

But you could change it to LSU. I didn't like high school football after 8th grade. I have always loved LSU and I loved Pistol Pete Maravich. He played for LSU and then he followed me to Atlanta and played for the Hawks. RIP Pete.

lmao,that was pretty sweet..seems to me them LSU boys might've haul off and got a little pissed..the look of anguish was priceless though..at the end it looked like the buckeyes were thinking about where they were gonna go after the game,more than the actual game..all while their coach in his fancy sweater vest was trying to look optimistic,lol...delusion can be fun-KS:P

Congratulations to LSU, they're definitely a powerhouse college team, and they proved it when it mattered.

Now for the rant.

If the BCS system really worked, then the final rankings would have had Ohio State at #4 or #5 and it would have had LSU and USC at 1 and 2. It pisses me off as a die-hard Buckeye fan because I think the system set them up for failure this year*. The Buckeyes were a team comprised of mostly sophomores and juniors that finished the regular season 11-1 largely because of a soft schedule. Also they benefited from a system that rewarded them simply because the Big 10 season ended sooner than most other conferences did and so their one loss came earlier than it did for some other teams, allowing them to climb all the way up to a #1 ranking without even playing. It's plain goofy.

So now because of last night's game, all the jeering, already entirely too smug SEC fans can pile on OSU some more (OHIO STATE SUCKS!) when they don't suck, they're actually a very good team, they just weren't top 2 and everybody knew it, even the fanboys like myself here in Columbus.

Dantheman, you a good dude bro, but if OSU goes 12-0 next year with a similar schedule, and there's a two loss SEC team, OSU shouldn't play for the title... come on Dan, after the pastings those guys have gotten the last two years from the SEC, how could it be justified?

ANd there a great team? I think not, if they played in the SEC they'd have 4 losses...

As for USC, they're a great team... and would be hard for any team to beat... but I love it when UGA plays a Big10 team-look at teh big10's record this year in bowls... nuf said!....if we played USC, that'd could go either way in my mind... if UGA will stop tripping on their own peckers next year, they may have a chance to do some great things....

Hats off to LSU, and dawg's right, OSU would probably have had 3 or more losses if they played in the SEC. The Big-10 and Pac-10 need to get with the program and have a championship game. If the Mountain West can do it, so can they. I'm just disappointed in my Sooners

West Virginia and LSU would have been much more entertaining.
