    Tim,

Thank you for your academic peer review of this piece of tripe. That has to be one of the most poorly written articles out of Brooklyn in a long time. Do you think it might rate a 2 on the Flesch-Kincaid scale?

This Organizationic article surely had bullshitic overtones. Thank you for analyzing it for us.

I'm sure it's right around the 121 mark for the Flesch-Kincaid scale; highly readable. If only the Flesch-Kincaid scale had a way to score the way something is written. I actually handed this to a friend of mine (who plays my brother when wrestling) who is a high school teacher; he said that the article is missing fundamentals of basic research papers that should be taught in 7th grade. He teaches 10th grade, he told me that while he couldn't comment on the scriptual applications or if any of what they said was true or not just based on the way it was written if that was handed into him as a research paper he would make the student re-write it. "This is written poorly for an 8th grader from an inner city school" were his exact words.

The answer here is because a talking snake told a naked lady to eat a piece of fruit. The forbidden fruit.

We may partly excuse the Watchtower's penchant for baby-talk by looking at its bizarre fairy-story source (i.e, Genesis). We have had these fairy-like images from Eden in our cultural heads for so long, that we no longer see them as bizarre but routine. A talking snake. A naked woman who disobediently consumes forbidden fruit. These cardboard "beings" have become living, breathing and taken-for-granted in our Bible-dominated culture. In any other context, we'd be described as deluded for believing in the talking snake and the disobedient naked woman munching on fruit.

Isn't that a fact, and this is the stuff handed out to the public to look at and see if they want to study. I'm curious if a witness studied with someone who brought up just the comments I made on the structure of the writing what the witness would say. I'm actually heading back to college in September to go for my master's degree I'm definetly going to make it a point to take a public speaking class and a debate class then I'll be able to review talks LOL.

What a fine waste of time. Being told that Jehovah has the right to rule everything simply because He says He has that right. By the same line, I would like to impeach Him because I say He should be impeached.

Benevolent? Trying to take me by force, cutting off all escape routes while making the opposite sex totally uncomfortable in my presence in the process, and ultimately forcing me into something that is going to be impossible and destructive is their idea of benevloence. And, what about civilization's Golden Ages when God was disregarded? Wasn't it God that destroyed all those civilizations simply because they weren't following His directive? Remember Socrates and Aristotle were "empty philosophers" that were warned against? So, society has stagnated. Benevolent?

I would have wished that there was a grade of "G", lower than the standard "F", for a paper like that. You cannot prove something by simply stating that it is that way because it's that way. That is about the most wretched "proof" I have ever seen. And it runs through the Watchtower Society's whole teaching. God is good because He says so. The Watchtower Society is the truth because they say it is. God's rule is benevolent because He says it is. I have news for them: If I had a choice between Jehovah or Nimrod running the store for which I work, I would rather work under Nimrod and probably become better fulfilled than work for a God that is going to stifle me in every way He can and then claim it's for my benefit and then order me to proclaim it as such.

As for the "ic" suffix, that is there just to confuse the people. Which leads to dependence on the Watchtower Society for the explanations, which are always wrong and clash with each other. I, for one, have no desire to waste the time sitting through that bullsxxx.
