    Yes echoing many of the above comments - physical impairments are fine. Mental impairments - they tend not to believe in - if you are depressed then you are are obviously practising some gross sin in private and Jehovah's holy spirit has been removed from you. Looking back I remember one or two more than likely autistic children who my father would take out to box their ears when they were disruptive during meetings. I was punished constantly through childhood for not being being happy amongst other things, when really I should have been being treated for a disorder to the chemistry in my brain.

    Its kind of ironic that they really fear the whole psychological/psychiatric aspect when really you have to be mentally deficient to believe half the claptrap they feed you. I'm not insulting anyone here. Remember I believed it all for 29 years.

    We had a few disabled people in our Cong. Honestly, they were treated very well and with respect. I do think this one (as was mentioned) falls on the individual. Some people look down on them, others put in some effort.

    As for the "Spiritual Disabled" - I think Blindess is the most common.
