Typical JW response.

"I Love Pioneering" loves going door to door but a potential inactive or discouraged person asks for the Memorial date and they get insulted.

Nice judging there! Try to love people first before loving pioneering!

It's not that they love pionneering it's that they love the title and the glory that it brings. They are not all like that but the ones who respond like this one are.

Seems like more and more Watchtower stuff is becoming secretive. OUR KINGDOM MINISTRY, SPECIAL PUBLISHER WATCHTOWERS, etc.,etc. Is there something to hide or be embarassed about? Also, no one knows about the money flow either. How much comes in, where it goes, etc., but be sure to 'will us the farm'!

If you ever check out JW responses to anti-JW videos, they'll be the most insulting. Even when I was in, I never wanted to pioneer or go to bethel because I didn't want to be associated with those pompous, prideful, hate-mongers.

To me, this could be less about judgmentalism and more like paranoia. The WT Society's fearmongering about apostates is rubbing off on its rank and file.

I think it's a little of both. Having the fear drummed into your head at every meeting does have an effect. But JW's, especially those serving in some capacity, can be quite rude if they feel they are rightiously defending Jehovah's name.
