Mouthy, this is where I can not agree with you. I believe that most people are good, the bad ones get all the air time; because, good news is no news. If I believed in Satan, I would guess that 1-2% follow him, most would be more than 50% of those living today, 3.3 billion Satan worshipers.

OK I'll go to New York city and start a earthly organization, I've got a whole lot of air miles I could use up.

Now I've got to assemble a bunch of YES men / GB members.

They must be predominately ignorant and incapable of thinking for themselves and really not too bright.

Well its New York so that shouldn't be much of a problem, I should be able to pick up a dozen of them in a hour or so.

Next I need someone to do my marketing and someone to manage the business end .

Oh my nephew manages a McDonald's restaurant he would be perfect for the job and he really knows how to flip a burger.

But what shall I call this organization Homerovah's Witnesses ?

I don't want to worship a God that...

... has a whole series of failed administrations (Garden of Eden, Israel) and wise servants that stopped serving him (Satan, Solomon), as noted in this week's Watchtower lesson.

... used to be able to send prophets that could really prophecy, heal, and even resurrect, but can't come up with anybody to do those things today.

... used to bless his servants materially (Abraham, Lot, Job), but now 'blesses' his servants with material poverty and a fruitless ministry.

... sent his Son to 'minister' for a mere 3 1/2 years, needed angels to strengthen him, spoke in mysterious illustrations, and never wrote a word for posterity.

... doesn't answer my prayers.

I'm a skeptic, but I've gone ahead and done Wiccan blessings (NOT petitions) for this or that and it seems that with no more effort than normal, I've gotten excellent results, so much better than I've ever gotten from Jehovah. When I prayed to Jehovah like I was supposed to, if I got any results, they were extremely late or non-existant. I think sometimes that with do it yourself blessings, you are giving yourself the go ahead to succeed, and on some subliminal leve, you program yourself to succeed. It's possible.

By praying to Jehovah, you might be giving a non-existing or non-interested being permission to help you when that being doesn't want to or can't (because of not existing). By blessing something yourself, you program yourself for success, subliminal suggestion done right in the open to you by you.

Pec I stand corrected Yes I believe MOST folks are good folks. Please let me say I was wrong. But I do believe Satan is urging folks ( GOOD FOLKS) to follow him .It is just that many refuse . ((((PEC)
