the term 'dub' originates from where exactly ? - i understand that it's used in reference to those considered 'active' jws, but as to what the term actually means i dunno - please enlighten me ...

Yeah and the noun..'dub' is also used in conjunction with descriptive adjectives like 'dumb'. So you might see the phrase 'dumb dub' a lot. Compare Fred Hall.. for example.

OK, like George W. Bush..the "W" being pronounced az "Dubya"..hence "Dub" for Jehovah's Witnesses or Jw..the "w" iz pronounced az "dub" without the ya...ok..ok..ok..ok?
And yes it does remind one of "dumb" az i "dumb-dub" which would refer to an average witnesses that buys into there insane rantings! -
