Please give me feedback if you think I'm doing too much or too little with this idea. There are a lot of us who want to do something to combat the power of the WTS, but don't want to waste our time or get exhausted emotionally. There are a lot of great ideas being discussed, but they don't usually go anywhere. I believe that if some of us can loosely coordinate our efforts with something simple, we might get a better idea of how to accomplish bigger things in the future. Calling the WTS doesn't have to take long. I think it's fine if someone just says something like, "I don't think you should have joined the UN" and then hang up. Others may want to say more.
I don't want anyone to feel guilted into doing this. I went through a period when I didn't want to hear anything or do anything about Jehovah's Witnesses. I understand if people don't want to get involved. Now, I feel like doing something can be part of my healing process. I no longer have any fear of the WTS, but realise they might have good reason to have some fear of me. I find this to be liberating.
Maybe a well known and energetic person will step up to lead this or a similar campaign. That would be great, but I don't think it's necessary. We already have a general plan that can be followed easily. Perhaps our strategies will evolve through the collective sharing of ideas. In the meantime, I will try to simply let people know about this opportunity. If enough people start telling me to shut up. I may do so and consider it a lesson learned, but I hope things will turn out differently.
