Just saw this last weekend. Anyone else a fan? I found it to be very much like "Princess Bride", but better! I especially enjoyed the performances of Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert DeNiro, and Clare Danes. Simply wonderful film.

I saw it. Yes, I think The Princess Bride is a good comparison. I thought it was really a cute movie. Though I'm very fond of The Princess Bride, so I can't say it was better. I will say they were both equally good in their own way.

I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan, and loved the movie. Even though it departed from the story a bit, the flavor was very much Gaiman. DeNiro in that get-up... priceless.

Someone described it as Princess Bride meets Pirates of the Caribbean. That fits.

I just watched it last week. It got off to a slow start but I enjoyed it! A campy DiNero was hilarious. I think the "Princess Bride meets POC label" is appropo.

I agree Odrade. I saw it on the plane to America so I think some of the impact was lost on such a tiny screen, but Michelle Pfeiffer just looked breath taking!

I saw it about 4 weeks ago and thought it was a good flick.

The dead brothers and their antics absolutely slayed me; I was laughing so hard... De Niro's performance was, as usual, outstanding...

I saw it at Comic-Con last summer in a pre-release benefit showing. Neil was there talking about it, told us were the inspiration for the wall came from, told us about the flying ship, "I really just thought it would be neat to see Charles Vess draw a flying boat." Originally it was suppossed to be Tristran instead of Tristan but it was changed because of a typo. Good times.
