Min, this goes without saying. In fact, it's because I value people over policy that I left the Witnesses.
My impression is that most people here feel the same way. Maybe you didn't mean it, but your post comes across as somewhat cautionary in its tone when a more helpful approach, in my view, is to affirm JWDers already possess a healthy outlook in putting people above policy!
