I make two picks for the Super Bowl; straight-up winner and ATS winner.
Straight-up it's the Patriots, I don't think that there is any doubt of that. ATS is another issue....

Yeah XJW, I see that the "against the spread" bet is 14 points in favor of the Patriots. I think people who take N.Y. plus 14 might do okay.
Remember that the last game these teams played in December was a 38-35 affair.

I have a feeling that the Giants are going to pull this one out. I just hope that this SB is not a blow out where one side wins by a large margin. I like it when the games are close, like last weeks packers Giant game.

Only 6 more days to go until we find out who the champion is. Now we must endure countless inane pseudo-journalistic attempts to get a "fresh angle" on the players and teams.
I think the "Tom Brady ankle injury" is a real story. ESPN's Ron Jaworski (whom I consider "the" quarterback expert of American football) studied the film of the Patriots' last game and believes Brady suffered an injury in the 3rd quarter.
So will Brady be fit enough to escape the Giants' pressure and connect with his receivers? He must if the Patriots are to win.

Traditionally, Brady hasn't relied at all on mobility. This year, he's moved around more than other years, but overall, I don't think his mobility is going to make a big difference one way or the other. What he does have, pin-point accuracy and composure in the pocket, are what make him such a formidable opponent.

I'm a die hard Packers fan, and although I hated watching my beloved team lose at home to the Giants, New York deserved to win that game and go to the Super Bowl. I hope they pull off the win; that would really be something in light of what the Patriots have done this year. To me that would make a better story than a perfect season by New England.

Exactly. The Patriots ARE beatable and especially so by the Giants.
I'm even going out on a limb here (Brady's...ha ha ha) and wearing my new Manning jersey this Sunday!
Let's go, GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gawd, I wish I was in Arizona.

NJ is LIVE today! It seems as if there is no restaurant around who is not having a superbowl party. Giants gear on everyone. That's all everyone is talking about. Strangers, even. It's like New Year's Eve here and I'm loving it.
