Fancy, your family wishing you dead cause you might get a resurection. What a bunch of twisted fuckwits. Really, I despair.

DF'd or not. The same holds true according to the borg. that if you were guilty of a serious sin and it didn't come to light , you would still DIE at the BIG A.

I really wish Armagedon would just get here and kill everyone already. It is getting REALLY old.

Seriously, how long can you threaten to punish someone and not do it, before it just gets ridiculous.

"Similarly, unrepentant apostates go, at death, not to Sheol, or Hades, but to Gehenna. (Hebrews 6:4-8; 2 Peter 2:1) The same is true of dedicated Christians who persist in willful sin or those who "shrink back." … They will, therefore, not be resurrected." Watchtower 1982 April 1 p.27
All those destroyed at Armageddon also loose any hope of a resurrection.
"Yes, the destruction of the gross sinners in those cities was eternal, as will be the destruction of the wicked at the end of the present system of things." Watchtower 1990 April 15 p.20

Buzzard bait, from memory. Although there's probably an article that cast a vague 'we don't really know' light on that for the sake of the despairing mothers, like mine.

Hey, only last year I thought that if I was say, diagnosed with something terminal, I'd make an effort at pretending to get reinstated for the sake of my mum - so that she could grow old and die happy thinking that I'd be resurrected into paradise. These days I think that she is going to have to just live with it. Now, is that selfish, or healthy personal growth on my part? I can't tell any more.

remember what they said about those killed in sodom and gomorrah? At first they said no, they won't be resurrected. later yes..and then no again. don't know whether it is yes or no now...do you still give a damn as to what they say? They say non JWs will all be killed at the big A. But ask yourself this question : "Have every person on this earth been reached with their "good news"? Is it fair for these people to be killed without having a chance to choose? Furthermore, not all who were DFed or DA'ed has commit a sin. Some were DF because they begin to have doubts and dare to question. Will J destroy these people? I remember a verse that new converts 'examine the scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.'But JWs can be dfed for doing so and they will be killed at big A?

Technically , you are food for the ravens... If you have not shown repentance at the time of judgement...That is what hard liners and book followers will say. More progressive Dubs will say that "Only God can make that decision"

If you wrote up now, I bet you would get an answer that said 'yes, but allowed bit of leeway for Gods mercy if He saw fit to show it' - and said how important it was not to be in that position and face that risk.......
