Is the Earth warming up or cooling down?

One thing you can be sure of, if it does start to cool down, gore and gang will declare victory. They will claim that their efforts have saved the planet. 'Facts' are easily arranged to fit apparent reality. When the ice age was being declared a few yrs ago, scientists were on board to sunstantiate and explain the whys and wherefors.

All I know is this: In South Dakota it is cold and we have no indications of global warming.
10-20 below zero. Gore needs to get his butt up here and do some research.

Speaks volumes, especially north. Wonder if the earths axis is changing just a bit, I read recently that the equator used to be much further north at one time.

Your graph may be correct sixofnine, but since a few years, it aint warming up anymore, and may be cooling down.
Russian and foreign research data confirm that global temperatures in 2007 were practically similar to those in 2006, and, in general, identical to 1998-2006 temperatures, which, basically, means that the Earth passed the peak of global warming in 1998-2005,"
