troubled mind
My son went with a group of his friends to see that movie when it was in the theater
His one friend got so distrubed by the first few minutes he had a panic attack , rushed to leave his seat and ended up passing out on the steps in the aisle . He hit the floor with his face and knocked out a front tooth and had to have some stitches .
I have no stomach for those kinds of movies either so I am not even tempted to see it .

Can I just ask....
Why? Why? Why would you want to see these movies? Just the commercials freak me out.
I seriously don't understand why people watch these things.
But hey each their own...

To be honest I could never watch these types of movies but something CLICKED in my mind about 5 years ago and I can't get enough of them. The Saw series are great but this latest Saw 4 even I had a hard time with the first 15 minutes and had to look away a few times...It's like passing an automobile accident you don't want to look but you do...

I would bet it appeals to your since of justice and survival-of-the-fittest-ism.
The weak minded and lazy don't deserve to live type idea the movie tries to promote disgusts me. I am surpised someone has't tried to copy cat this in real life.

Ahh. Well I hope whatever clicked was not more like snap Just kidding. Yeah, I think I can see what you mean. It's the whole:
"OMFG! Look at that eyeball hanging from his face!"
I know when I was growing up I liked some horror. Not quite like Saw. More like the campy Friday the 13th crap. Then for me, I think after I had my girls, I just can't watch them anymore. Ok, well maybe Friday the 13th, let's face it, it's not quite Saw.
Heh, I tried watching the Grudge, and kept hiding my head under the blanket.

I think its because I've always been unnaturally thrilled by death and violence as I was raised on horror stories at the kingdom hall. I can't wait to see SAW 4 - i'll be seriously impressed if it comes up with anything new. I thought Saw 3 was superb.
