It is said that love covers a multitude of sins......If there is no forgiveness, then where is the LOVE?
This should debunk the idea of being able to carry on a loving relationship if there is no forgiveness for a PAST sin.

Forgiveness relates closely to many unwritten codes of conduct and therein lies much confusion and conflict as to where acceptable boundaries lie! This alone fuels conflicts based upon one imposing personal boundaries on another. And often it is those conflicts which then are used to stereotype each person = second level conflicts and not the initial perceived wrongdoing.
And when one feels punished by anothers view of evil which is not their view, are they then free to punish the evil they perceive has been inflicted on them? And if they choose to forgive - it is unlikely the other will even feel forgiven if they felt they were administering justice in the first place.
Same when you look around the world - no universal justice exists and evil is full of difference depending on where you are.
Maybe we should try and argue which should be universal evils in building our own God!
1) The following are for all mankind and everyone should have no laws but these - they will be your God!!
An obvious long term action plan to start with..
Ultimately, if a person does not forgive have they made themself a god? Seems to me there is a lot of power in holding a grudge. Not forgiving ends a meaningful relationship; is it not a form of punishment for an act of real or precieved trangression?
Often people speak of forgiveness in degrees "I can never forgive you for that, but we can still be friends." Is this statement possible?
