I remember when JFK was running for President the rumour was that a catholic in the White House would be the start of the great persecution.They even had a special AWAKE edition condemming the Catholic Church.When I asked a brother why was that, he said because of the forthcoming election.
Still waiting over forty years on.

Tired of the Hypocrisy
That sounds so typical of a BS tactic to manipulate people and start a rumor. Does anyone else remember that once the door was shut the JWs are supposed to go around door to door and tell people they were screwed? Like:
